Green Papaya Salad with Dried Shrimps

Som Tam Thai

Ingredients

250 gms Green Papaya, Peeled and Sliced in Thin Strips

5 pcs Bird Chillies

3 Garlic Cloves

40 gms Green Beans, Raw Sliced Length 1 Inch

5 pcs Cherry Tomatoes

1 tbs Palm Sugar

1 tbs Dried Shrimps

30 gms Roasted Plain Peanuts

2 tbs Lime Juice

1 tbs Fisch Sauce

250 gms White Cabbage


Preparation

Pound a fraction of the papaya with chillies, garlic, beans and palm sugar in a mortar.

Add sliced tomatoes, shrimps, peanuts and the remaining papaya.

Season with lime juice and fish sauce.

Serve immediately with leaves of white cabbage
